I came across this gear checker which I think is very useful. It pulls information about your character directly from the WoW Armory and suggests, based on your gear, the types of raiding you are geared to do. It also offers suggestions as to what gear needs improvement. Of course, this is all pre-Litch King stuff, but a good start.

I love that site. Been using it since I hit 80.
Another handy site is WoW Juju. They have a handy rep calculator there that tracks your rep with every faction. It includes which dailies they have, what rewards each rep level gives, repeatable quests for rep, and so on. If anyone knows of a site or tool that tells gold amounts for dailies, I'd love to see that, too.
